1. Go to Assets and select Add asset. You can also use Add asset under Assets here on a location.
2. Choose the Type, for example Snack Machine.
3. Optional: Make, Model, Serial number, Purchase price (in your company currency), Acquired on.
4. Set the Condition: New, Good, Fair or Poor.
5. If it has a warranty, turn on Has warranty and enter Warranty expires on.
6. Choose a Location, or In storage (no location).
7. Optional: choose a Payment device (VendxPay, Nayax, Cantaloupe, Other) and enter its Device serial.
8. Select Add asset.

• Warranty reminders: 30 days before a warranty expires, VendScout creates a Warranty task automatically. The task is unassigned, so check All tasks.
• Find a machine: use the Assets filters (type, status, location) or the Warranty expires in 30 days switch.
• "Pick an asset type. If the list is empty, an admin can add types in Settings." See [Manage asset types].
• Bulk-add machines: use [Import customers, contacts and assets].
